MSN Hotmail AnoyityI thought to mention something I had come across about
Hotmail. Well I had 30+ days without logging in to my
Hotmail account and
Hotmail decided to 'suspend' my account. You may think its just a case of
resetting my
log in details but no, theirs more because not only did I lose my emails when I resigned up to the account after the suspension I had with that
account but I also got my contacts removed from
MSN Messenger. Now I don't remember all those contacts emails and some of them were people who I was in contact online only and so I don't have their other details to ask for their email back to re-add them. Now this I find really annoying. Maybe somewhere in the Terms and Conditions of using
MSN it was mentioned that if you did not
log in after more then 30days into your account it would be suspended and you will lose details like contacts and emails but I don't remember that. Maybe
MSN have
stopped doing this to peoples accounts-but I thought to mention it just i
ncase they were still doing it. Will I'm annoyed with
MSN and its another reason why certain other email providers may be better in not taking people's important online Messenger and email information of. The reason why I had stayed with
MSN was mainly for their Messenger as it is, I can get their email services better elsewhere. Has anyone else found
MSN suspend their account and then reset details like contacts and emails? After all their called be reasons why people are not
log in in to their
MSN Hotmail accounts-I think I didn't have access to the
Internet at the time and I think once I was unable to
login to my
Hotmail account for nearly 30days when I was trying to
log in! I understand their can be faults with services such as
Hotmail, but why reset people's contacts and emails just if their account wasn't used after 30days-
that's only a couple of weeks-it seems to be one of those annoying things that Microsoft have done to their service. Oh and if anyone knows any ways where I could get back my lost contacts and emails-I'm very grateful and I have emailed Microsoft in the past and not found a reply from them so perhaps you lot may have some more helpful tips.
